Unity to the Galaxy

After experimenting with the Unity game engine for years, I seized an opportunity to work on a mobile-focused project with a partner. Ultimately, for the sake of expedience, we settled on building from one of my experiments: a Unity port of an old game I'd programmed for Mac and PC in C++.

Mission Complete

I released the game. Commercially, it was a failure, but we'd managed to explore the entire process from start to finish. Marketing and monetizing are challenges I still intend to chip away at. A partial rebranding with an arcade cabinet motif, including interface, control tweaks, and a simple opt-in video ad approach are in the realm of possibility for a small update but any larger endeavors I'd rather apply to a new game.
